5 A Day the Color Way

9am arrival for set up

10am-10:40am - 5 a day presentation to 130 kiddos

Surprise tasting of a 5 a day slushy 140 samples (2 oz)

11am-1pm-ish - SR Class (15-20students) (2 - 40min classes) cooking demo and hands-on activity with Whole Grains and Cauliflower Flatbread Pizza .

Location: LeafSpring School at Ballantyne - 9829 Providence Rd W, Charlotte, NC 28277

School will provide:

• Gloves for the SR students (1 box)

• napkins

• 2-6ft tables

• kitchen with oven to cook flatbread

• refrigeration space

• plates for SR class

Chef to Provide:

• 5 a day set up (fruits and veggies)

• 5 a day signage

• 2 oz cups to serve

• pre made smoothie for

• all ingredients for student demo and all equipment
